2022 Blues produced Alpaca Road's White Light. White has perfect conformation covered with fiber that is extremly fine, consistent structure and a high degree of luster.
2021 Update: Blues gave birth to a fabulous fawn male cria -- Alpaca Road's Alley Cat. This young male is high spirited with a look at me attitude. His lustrous, pencil-locked fiber is cool to the touch and slick as can be. He was born with very wrinkled neck and sides. This boy is going to have great density.
Blues Alley's fiber is buttery soft and displays extreme high luster. Her regrowth has been phenomenal. Blues has a perfect bite, and a solid, medium boned conformation, with nice body structure for carrying crias. We feel Blues has lots of potential and will make an excellent foundation female.
Before breeding her we took her to her first show. Under judge David Barboza (Small Breeders) he placed her 2nd under a larger-boned female. Judge Barboza conceded Blues had much finer fleece with a better handle and more luster; however, he prefers females with more substance of bone.
Under judge Diana Timmerman (2017 Jubilee) she placed Blues in 1st place over the same alpacas she faced in Small Breeders. Judge Timmerman conceded that all the alpacas in the ring had minor faults she felt the quality of Blues' fleece far outweighed the qualities of the other alpacas. Judge Timmerman recognized Blue's buttery soft handle, high degree of luster, structure and staple length -- especially for a previously shorn Suri.
Her cria, sired by 2016 Futurity champion MMALP Hi-Tone, is simply gorgeous. Rodeo Drive (row-day-o) is covered with full, dense, lustrous pencil-locked fiber. Sold

Financing Terms We offer multiple financing options based on the purchase price of the alpaca. A 25% deposit is required regardless of the option chosen. One year financing is offered with 0% interest. Two to four year financing will have interest at 1 over prime applied. Financed sales require the purchase of mortality insurance for the balance owed with Alpaca Road LLC named as the Loss Payee.
